This crazy market
Everything it seems I have read in the last two days contradicts the thing I read before, what is this market doing? Where is it heading?? Buyer’s are nervous but at the same time anxious to take advantage of these low interest rates and prices. Seller’s aren’t happy if they’ve bought in the last 7 years, a few are ready to make a change even in this market knowing they’ll pay low on their next purchase. What seems positive is that the buyer tax credit looks to be extended and hopefully the program enhanced to include all buyers! Also positive is that in spite of all the predictions of higher rates the interest rates are staying close to 5% which really helps out buyers of all properties!
My 2 listings at Wendy Way and Waterford Drive sold very quickly still proving the market under $235,000 is strong in Chico CA! Buyer’s are willing and expect to compete for decent homes in that price range.
