Searching Chico Real Estate
I want to apologize for new format in searching Chico or any real estate on my website. Our local Multiple Listing Service changed within the last 3 weeks and they are still working the bugs out. If you’ll skip the old map and go to SEARCH CHICO REAL ESTATE that will be the easiest method. I do like the google map that shows up to pinpoint where each listing is.
Another new developement with this system is that if a foreclosure or short sale goes INTO escrow it will still be shown as ACTIVE or AVAILABLE. 2010 New Year’s Resolution!
We made it through 2009, not the best Chico real estate year but I have to say all my buyer’s got what I think were great buys! I didn’t expect, like most, that this recession would be so devastating to values in everything. We’re all thinking now to “bargain” shop for everything from stocks, real estate, retail, about the only thing I didn’t save on were the basics of food and gas!
The year did end on an UP note, more escrows now in my file drawer than in the last year at one time, most seller’s have come to realize that the prices aren’t in an upward trend yet and most buyer’s are pleased with prices and interest rates! I just represented buyer’s in Paradise and Chico are they are thrilled. Interest rates do seem to be on the rise though, since the beginning of December they’re averaging over 5% for 30 year fixed rate loans.
I have a couple of listings coming up, a very small home in the Avenues for under $200,000 and a Mission Ranch home that backs up to Lindo Channel. I’ll keep the blog updated on a more regular basis- My New Year’s Resolution!! Hope to see or talk to you in TWENTYTEN!!
