Wendy Way new bathroom

Haven’t blogged lately, sorry about the delays its been a busy few weeks.  The little home is coming along, new counter tops and paint in the kitchen, sheetrock has been installed where repairs have been made to closets, bathroom, closed in doors, etc.  I planted the front flower beds this week.  I went looking for tile for the bath shower and couldn’t match the ugly tile on the floor so talked Chris into ripping it up today- THANK GOD! The underlayment was rotted through, no wonder its been smelling like mildew in the hoouse, but as of tonight its all out, tile, underlayment and most of the subfloor. 
Both of our backs are feeling today but its done.  Fritz the HVAC guru comes in the morning to move a few vents and close the one in the garage (old something room?), Jeff comes back to starat texturing the sheet rock that he taped today, Dennis coming back to help Chris with the new subfloor in the bath. 
I left today without pictures again, will get some more on this weekend, off to SF for a quick play tomorrow.

Interest Rate and Loan Changes

Hey All- Interest rates took a big dip on Monday, its below 5 % for owner occupied with good credit.  Great time to be a BUYER!! Another best buy came on the market today in Chico, its a foreclosure of course.  A custom built home off East Ave with an inground pool for $245,000!
Another Loan change per Fannie Mae guidelines; Any owner occupied loan with multiple units ( 2-4) like a duplex, triplex or fourplex will need 20% down payment as of Monday, no more low down on these type of homes.
